Anita Schlarb

Anita Schlarb is a photographer who captures images of colorful and unusual birds, aquatic animals, nature, and scenic landscapes that she discovers in her travels. Born in Chatham, Ontario, and now Ottawa-based, she has always enjoyed being in the outdoors, watching a sunset, walking through a forest, and relaxing on a beach.
Starting in 2014, with the help of a mentor, she decided to sell her photography taken in the Caribbean, Europe, the United States and Canada.
A professional piano teacher, Anita completed a Bachelor of Music in Education from the University of Ottawa. She has an ARCT from the University of Toronto in both teaching and performance. She has composed over 150 pedagogical pieces for piano and other instruments.
Anita is excited to share, through her digital imagery, her enthusiasm for the seasons of life and nature. She enjoys reading, playing scrabble, working out with free weights, and proudly holds a Third-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
