Kevin Wilson and Sandra Allen are a husband-and-wife team that share a love of working with glass. They created Murkay Creations around 2012 when their hobby became more of a passion. Since they moved to Almonte and built their retirement studio in 2015 they have been able to focus on their glass work. Along the way, they have been fortunate to have taken many glass courses from different international guest glass instructors at The Glass Shoppe Studio and Grace Edwards
Kevin focuses on experimenting with chemical reactions between different glasses and perfecting glass techniques using a torch. Sandra experiments with creating flameworked glass components with a torch and includes them as elements in fused glass work. They love gardening which is visible in their work by their use of colour, texture and natural elements.
Today they continue their journey, producing unique jewelry and one of a kind artwork.
